About Me
Dr. Morris is married to Rev. D. JeSie Morris and together they have three young adult children, JeSani, JaRiah and Jezekiah. She is an active member of several community advisory boards, including Reidsville Area Foundation, Guilford Technical Community College, and Davidson Community College Nursing Programs. She is a board member of the Rockingham Community College Foundation. Dr. Morris serves Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Eden, NC as their congregational health nurse.
Bio
Dr. Tiffany Morris currently serves as the Inaugural Chair, Associate Professor of Nursing in the Department of Nursing at Elon University. She served as Interim Director of Nursing and Assistant Dean for Faculty Development and Student Enhancement for North Carolina A&T School of Nursing. She was the Dean of Health and Public Safety for Rockingham Community College, and Director of Nursing Programs.
Dr. Morris earned her Certified Nurse Educator credentials from the National League of Nursing in 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia, a Master of ScienceDegree in Higher Education: Integrative Studies, along with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing. Morris earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Grand Canyon University. In the Fall of 2020, Morris was inducted as a member of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing Faculty Fellows program.
Dr. Morris is the co-author of “Think Like a Nurse-A Critical Thinking Initiative” published in ABNF Journal and “Raising awareness about health disparities: A call to action”, American Nurses Association and she is the recipient of 2016, Teacher of the Year, North Carolina A&T State University School of Nursing.
